Temptation loves my door

To God

I would love to give my all
But temptation
Loves my door
He keeps on banging
He doesn’t even knock
Banging and banging
He is screaming
Let me in,
A thief,
At night
He won’t let me sleep,
Breaking into my dreams
My purity
He steals
Roaming in my mind
He is building streams
Look at all my sins
Each one grows with every brick
My weaknesses,
He can master
All of them,
Like a puzzle,
He can play
All of them
Though I try to be right,
He reminds me I am a sinner
Temptation loves my door
