God gave me a rope

In the presence of my enemies,
God gave me a rope. He told me to hang myself!!!

Lost in distress

My hair
My mind
My heart
Everything was just a mess
Perfect time for the enemy to attack,
Didn’t he?
Well he did
And not by himself,
Together with his cahoots,
They came in numbers
A flood late at night
Trying to change my mind about life
They asked where is my reason to live,
I saw none,
Suddenly a much stronger voice called my name,
In the presence of my enemies,
God gave me a rope
He told me to hang myself
Around my neck it caressed me,
A rope long and firm,
I call it hope
Because of it,
My life’s value I know
Miserable and horrible it may be,
Not even once I was suicidal
God gave me a rope
Tying me to the brighter side of my life,
A future He planned
I am strong now
I tell my enemies where to get off
God gave me a rope
He pulled me from my distress
